Reichenberger's Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze
Field Trips!

We offer an experience like no other for your students!
For a cost of $3.00 per head, you may bring your classes to the pumpkin patch to experience agriculture first hand.
Your students will learn the following:
  • The children will get to walk into our 11 acre maze to listen to a short talk about how sorghum is grown by farmers, and where it is marketed and how it ends up in our lives.
  • How pumpkins are grown, pollinate, and their physiological characteristics. Children will see over 15 different types of pumpkins
  • The children will get time to run through our 6 acre pumpkin patch and discover the different types, colors, and shapes of pumpkins discussed
  • The students will be able to play on the huge hay bale slides, look at the goats, our pot belly pig Bubba, our two donkeys, and our chickens AND play in our popular corn bin!
  • You may bring their snack to eat and we supply the complimentary cup of juice
  • Each teacher will receive a large pumpkin to study in class
  • Each student leaves with a bag containing coloring pages, information about pumpkins, and gets to PICK a FREE pumpkin right off the vine to take home!!
